The idea is to create a space where the terrain and the initial inversion will be contributed by both countries, meanwhile the infrastructure and the services will be built from a labor force 50% mexican and 50% american, with local representatives of both countries. Otra Nation is the first binational econtone of the continent.
In terms of social focus, Otra Nation will integrate a social infrastructure for healthcare (nutrition, family planning, rehabilitation clinics), the community and sports and entertainment centers as pathways to the generation of a social link that involves the people with their environment.
In the cultural aspect, this new meaning of itself will be clearly inserted in a narrative without frontiers present in the language, the food, the different artistic expressions and the cultural production. This overlapping of identities will strengthen the sense of belonging to the synergistic context. Establishing cores of cultural production (libraries, museums, galleries, workshops) based on the major twin cities of the current border (Tijuana-San Diego / Mexicali-Calexico / San Luis-Yuma, among others). It proposes a continuous cultural corridor that promotes a more cohesive and empathetic relationship, which serves to heal the historical and current conflicts in order to generate an attitude of friendship and cooperation.
In economics, Otra Nation will become the opportunity to take an important step towards a more robust system for the development of specialized groups. In fact, the same disparity in development and the abundant jurisdictional limits, generally understood as challenges to the economic development of the region, are also keys to its evolution.
Regarding the environment, clean energy will make Otra Nation a zone of no-extraction (zero oil and zero mining) basing energy solutions on solar ranches and electric transportation (Hyperloop for charging electric cars for people). In solar ranches, for example, in 90,000 km2 of the deserts of Otra Nation it will be possible to produce 7,942,811 GWh of clean energy, enough to provide solar energy to both Mexico and the United States.
In terms of technology, Otra Nation will be the engine of the solution for a continental border crossing. In the main stations of the Hyperloop (hyper circuit) and in the borders of Otra, there will be a series of non-invasive revisions that will allow the Americans to pass freely using the identification system OTRA, created and managed by Otra Nation. In Jordan, similar systems are already being used for newly established residents. This by means of an intelligent electronic chip of residence. ID OTRA and its services have been created based on state-of-the-art solutions, including 2084-bit public key encryption.
The inhabitants of Otra Nation will enjoy a region where linked ecosystems, protected natural areas, twin cities and the cultural expressions will be unique in the world.
